Intel i7 overheating

hey guys how you doing, before all thanks for the attentions, i just bought a cpu from Cyberpower, and had a intel cor i7 ext/overclocked with a cooler master v8 on it anyhow the computer seems to be overheating cuz it shuts down most time I turn on am already contactin CBP for customer service but was wondering if it was posible that the pentium was not damaged,and how should proceed from here on.

install a temp sensor and tell us your temps

if your not OCing you should not get crashes with that cooler, its BIG, i have one as well, and I am OCing and everything is fine.

report back with temps?

Download CPUID Hardware Monitor or Core Temp and tell us your CPU tempuratures.
