Constant bleeping motherboard

Hi all,

Well i built my computer itself and have had it for three or so years, but lately everytime i burn cds/dvds i get a constant bleeping noise from the motherboard/videocard/cpu area.

So far it hasn't actually crashed my computer but i was wondering how i could solve this problem, maybe someones heard of something similar and knows a few solutions.

I was thinking if its the cpu it might need more of that grey stuff... if its the gpu overheating then i might replace it or if possible remove it for the time being... hopefully its not the motherboard.

How are we excluding the CD/DVD drive from this equation? After all this is only happening when you are burning discs right? Seems obvious to start looking at that as the cause.
