I know this should not go under this section but I am desperate for HELP. I got W7 x64bit and Bioshock. Now my sound does not work only in the GAMEPLAY, in cut scene and menu it does. I tried installing the newest drivers, enabling sound mix, starting in every comparability mode. WHY IS IT NOT WORKING.?

PLZ HELP AND REPLY IF U KNOW SOMETHING

Try running it in compatibility mode, Vista SP2. Find the executable (like maybe bioshock.exe?) in Windows Explorer, right click, Properties, Compatibility Tab. Bioshock is a great game--so atmospheric, such a deeply textured universe, so friggin' scary. Good luck.

Ah. You said that. Sorry, I'm not a very good reader, it seems. I googled your problem, and a lot of people are complaining of this same thing. I think something is broken somwhere in the game or in W7 or in the drivers, and we'll have to wait for them to fix it. I only know that I was able to play the demo just fine in Windows Vista Home Premium 32. Wish I could have been of some help.
