Whats the deal?

Hello, I opened a zip file downloaded from an email and now it appears i can't access any programs and potentially may have some deleted important data. how do i repair this?

sounds like you've executed a virus. you will want to boot off of an antivirus liveCD like FreeAVG

1. open your computer in safemode(which disable all kinds of devices drivers )
2. install or run your antivirus fullscan.
3. then you got some virus include your zip file remove it completly.
4. if you want to run it so download it again in present of your antivirus
