Gigabyte Z77: UD3H vs D3H?

Hullo,

Im building a system I want to overclock a bit, based around i5 3570k.
Would i lose anything by going for the D3H instead of the UD3H in terms of overclocking ability?

Cheers,

Kez

More about gigabyte ud3h
  1. http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4140#ov DH3 = no ddr OC and no VTT control

http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=4153#ov UD3H has those controls (VTT makes for a more stable OC if i remember right) u should check that out since im not all that sure
  2. Also
UD3H has pci-e 3.0 x16/x8 D3H only has 1 x16. Only important if you go with two GPUs in xfire/SLI at a future date.
    Comparision of the two specs:

  3. Thanks for the reply. i think i will splash the cash and go with the ud3h, and hopefully get a better oc

Where does it say you can't OC the memory on the Z77-D3H?
  5. you also posted the wrong d3h, there are 2 of them. to compare with the ud3h you need to look at the z77x and not the z77
