Hello and Happy Thanksgiving

I am in the market for a *small* entry level el-cheapo desktop mostly for running X-Plane and as a replacement for my current machine (a ~2002 P-4 Dell Dimension with 6600GT that is able to run X-plane but not at the highest of settings).

I think I have all the components but it would be nice if someone can take a look and enlighten me specially with regard to cooling. Is the stock cooler on i5 okay for a few hours of playing X-Plane? Also do I need to be careful about anything while putting the heat sink?

Budget (~$600)
Purchase Date: ASAP
OS: Debian with a minimalist window manager
System Usage: Mostly for playing X-plane
Parts: http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=12452272
SLI: No

I dont think I will need to upgrade anything for the next few years with the exception of the video card.

I just want to add that X-plane (being a flight sim) is more CPU intensive and so I dont want a high end video card.

Also has anyone had any trouble putting the Biostar 9600GT in the X-Qpack2?
