Hi everyone

I am planning to buy an i5 2500k for my first build. I don't plan to overclock any time soon but would like the option to do so later.

Does this cpu come with good stock cooling? I would like to be able to save money and just buy a better fan later when I do eventually overclock.

You could go with the stock heatsink on it, but I wouldn't be surprised to see you in here in a few weeks complaining that your idle temps are a bit high :).

My recommendation, make room for the $50 or so heatsink you choose in your build and just do it from the start. With an i5 2500k I am assuming you are in the $1000 range anyway, so what's an extra 5%
