2x1gb 800mhz in 667mhz slot

if i put 2x1gb 800mhz in 667mhz slot do i lose dual channel?

To run Dual channel you have to have pairs of modules. Therefore, 2x1gb 800mhz will run Dual Channel. If you have another pair of modules which are running at 667Mhz, all them will run Dual channel at the speed of the solwest one (667Mhz). That's all.

i just have 1x512@667mhz right now. so if i put 2x2gb, i will have the pair runnig in dual channel at the speed of 667 mhz. right?

If you remove the 512Mb module, yes, you wil be able to run those 2x2Gb modules at Dual Channel.
