Which CPU is preferable ?

Intel® Core™ i5-430M processor
Features a 3MB cache and 2.26GHz processor speed.

i7-720QM is a good buy. But the Lappy with that processor would be expensive!

the price is not an issue.
but the i7 have lowest speed then the i5 in that case.
It's still preferable then the i5?

The i7 will be faster and laptop cpu are not easy to upgrade, so if you need the performance go for it. The question turns into do you need the extra performance? What programs are you running, if they are cpu intensive then get the i7. The other specs of the laptop my come into play too. If you post both the laptops you are looking at and what you plan to do with them, then we can tell you what is better suited for you.
