i was just wondering what the difference between these two sapphire cards is.

is it just the cooling? if i'm not planning to oc then would it be better to get the cheaper one?

The cheaper version is a newer revision. The first one uses the reference design, cooler. The new one uses copper heat pipes and fan that does not vent out of case.

the cooling solution is the only difference, those cards run cool anyways so there is no need to go with the more expensive card unless you have horrible case airflow....

i was looking at the xfx 5770 with the reference cooling...
i definitely want to OC, does that mean i should pay 10 more for the shroud? or do you think it's still okay with the cheaper heatpipe design? i have a mid-tower NZXT Lexa case
