I'm not upgrading to i5 or i7 - it's just too much money. New cpu, new board, new memory - it's all too much. I've got a nice E8400 and that's fine for me.

Now I had a couple of silent 7950GT X cards in SLI on an MSI board. The board has now packed in and as I need a new board, I thought I'd get a new card. Most probably something like a HD 5750 or a HD 5770.

But I want to leave my options open to get another HD 5750 or a HD 5770 at some point in the future. So therefore what would you recommend as the best Crossfire board for a Socket 775 cpu please?

Many thanks in advance.

GIGABYTE GA-EP45T-USB3P LGA 775 Intel P45 USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Remember that the crossfire mode will have to be run at x8 x8 for 2 cards; & x16 for one.
Though, with the 5750 / 5770, the reduced x8 bandwidth won't be too much of a bother.
