Im trying to find your PSU but to no avail.
Can you please include the model number or better form of identification?
  2. Can you provide specifications of your PSU?
They may be written on a sticker on the PSU.
  3. Is a no name PSU and it may be dangerous for some hungry power hardware like 4870 HD. U better change with a low cost hi quality PSU like some corsair 470vx. some antec 450W-500W+ or ocz450W-500W+.U will find something in UK under 50-75£ price tag.
  4. Change the PSU. You may end up paying a lot more for damaged parts in the end, rather than changing a single PSU now. Also a HD4870 will come to an end soon. HD5770 or HD5850 is a better buy now that DX 11 is becoming mainstream slowly.
  5. ok so if i got an antec 450watt, would that be good enough and have enough power for a 4870, or even a 5750?
  6. HD5750 is a very power efficient card.
It will even run well on a quality 400w unit.

Any 450W PSU with 80% or more efficiency will be good enough for HD4870.

Yes. And if you are asking, I would suggets the 5750 over a 4870. A small performance hit, but it is DX11 and more power efficient. If you are still using XP and have no intention of ever upgrading to vista or 7 (where DX11 works) then a 4870 would make sense.
