Hello,
My ASUS m/b [running XP SP3] was installed with 1x256MB PC2100 DIMM. I recently bought 2x512MB PC3200 DIMM & tried to add them. I encountered the following problems:
1. It is not possible to mix the PC2100 with the PC3200. The PC hangs & comes up with 'fatal error' blue screen.
2. It runs fine with 1xPC3200 card but as soon as I add the 2nd PC3200 card, it hangs & comes up with 'fatal error' blue screen.
Pls help.

Does your motherboard officially support PC3200 memory? Since it came with PC2100, the fastest RAM that can be used probably is PC2700.
