Wired xbox 360 controller and windows 7?

hey iam getting a wired xbox 360 controller to play on my computer for halo PC i have windows 7 with a 32 bit operating system will the controller work with my computer?

Yes, I do that for some games. It also will work out of the box on x64, vista, and on xp with downloadable drivers.

Yeah, it works on most new games and is especially useful for games that are ported to PC. Devil May Cry 4 is nearly impossible to play without it, and Street Fighter 4 just isn't made for a keyboard and mouse. For both Halo and Halo 2, the keyboard and mouse are superior but if you're use to playing it on the XBOX then you may prefer the wired controller .
