PC SHUT DOWN PROBLEM

HI,
This Problem i am faced in my friend PC.
His PC is shutdown automatically every 5 minutes since last 10 days.
The above problem is occur only at the time of Video Converting(Any type of converting software's).
When the PC shut down it could n't restarting in that case DISABLE the power adapter and enable it
Then only it will starting
Can any one give me suggestions for that.

your computer is overheating. that is why it is shutting down when you put a load on the CPU. check the heatsink and fans in the computer.
