Error performing inpage operation

hey guys,,when i am going to open my d rive it always show (error performing inpage operation)
i have also done the chkdsk trick..but it doesn't work for me plz help

Yeah if chkdsk didnt fix it (usually does) you may have a failing drive
You can load Linux and try to recover data that way. This error is only associated with Windows and some say they were at least able to recover the data from the disk then reformat it.
