Will upgrading from 4 to 8 gigs of ram make a diffrence ?

I was jus t woundering if upgrading from 4 gigs of ram to 8 gigs would make that much of a diffrence in gaming.. the ram is DDR3

It won't make a difference. You would be better off upgrading your GPU and then your CPU for better gaming performance.

4GB is already the ideal RAM capacity for gaming. If you want performance improvement, you will have the best chance by upgrading in the video card department. But before we can make proper recommendation, tell us your current configuration:
motherboard?
cpu?
video card?
monitor resolution ( example: 1440x900 )?

cpu- AMD Athlon II X2 245
video card-xfx xxx edition radeon hd 5770

your GPU is fine for that res, but a CPU upgrade would probably do you well.

an Athlon II 620 quad core is an awesome deal, and would suit your system nicely.

None in games, maybe in Adobe applications that u want run at the same time but not in games. If u want a better upgrade, go with a tri core or quad core CPU and an ATX mobo since u have a 5770 isn't necessary have a mobo with onboard video.
