i have zotac nvidia gtx 260 graphix card.......when i connect my monitor to the first port there is lots of distortion(in all modes...hd,digital...etc.)......the other port is working properly.....pls help.......

If it is a new card, go swap it with the retailer, if not cash in on your warrenty to have the manufacturer replace the card. You already did the leg work with troubleshooting the problem, a bad display port, i am assuming it is a dvi plug.
