I'm looking for some feedback on a computer I'm going to be building. Its going to be used for gaming (Diablo III, Star Wars: Old Republic and Starcraft 2), school and general everyday use. Its a considerable step up from my current computer which is about 6-7 years old.

Thanks for the welcome and your suggestions!

I switched out the RAM, the HDD you recommended was out of stock and 2 of the HSF were not available yet and the Dark Knight isint compatible with my mobo. I wasint able to switch out the Power Supply or Mobo as I have them as combo deals, the mobo with my CPU and the Power Supply with my video card.

I've updated my original post with links to the products and the prices. My current total with tax and shipping comes to $916.81.

I'm gonna look around a bit more and see what I can find.

There's a bracket set for the DK.

If you're not purchasing immediately (which I don't see specified above) then wait for the F3 to come back in stock, if you are then get the 7200.12 instead.

Since you got the PSU and MOBO in combos, stick with them.

I'm going to be using my current case, Thanks for the link jbakerlent and I'll take a look at the HDD you recommenced

I've might be making my purchase soon, found a few other WD HDD that I could swap my current WD HDD for.

I've never had any problems with WD so I prefer their HDD to any other ones.

I'm going to use the Western Digital Caviar Blue WD5000AAKS 500GB 7200 RPM 16MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s. A little less space then my current one but I plan on getting a 1/2 TB drive in the future.
