How to restore my deleted old user account in windows xp

Hello, a week back, my files were corrupted in my old user account. So I deleted that account hoping that all the files would be saved even if I delete that account and open a new one. But unfortunately, many files were lost. I had many of my photos,songs, videos etc. in that account but it seems to be lost. Do I have any way to get back my old deleted user account? If so, please let me know.

You probably won't recover the Profile in he right order but the files you need are probably in there somehwre, so long as you haven't stored a load of new data over them. Try Recuva first from http://www.piriform.com (the CCleaner people) and Restoration2514 from http://www.4shared.com/file/StwDn0pc/REST2514.html (ignore offers of free scans for anything else) and either or both will find something for you.

Try to put the recovered files on to a different drive - perhaps a memory stick - for the best recovery results.
