hello, naf456 here.
theres a thread made along time ago, talking about the best ever gaming case, but since all of these new cases came out. it seems like the best is no longer. or is it?
which is the best gaming cases for:

Bang for the buck?

performance?

style?

overall?

mine would be, in the same order:

the antec 3000

the Coolermaster HAF 932

the NZXT Hades

Coolermaster Storm scout

Corsair Obsidian
Cooler Master CM 690 both the original and the Advance II version

and if you are willing to pay for it the
Thermaltake Level 10 Case

But I think the best Case out right now is the Obsidian.

I share the same opinion as ulysses35 in respect to the HAF series.

I say any bottom mounted lian li :D. lancool k62 or pc-50r, Or lian li p80 P80 only reason to not go bottom mounted. performance is either silverstone raven or fortress 2 or coolermaster sniper black edition. modders for antec 900.

Depends on what best fits YOUR particular needs. For me, it would be a cross between the Antec 1200 and HAF 932.....though next month, I just might change my opinion when the Dark Fleet series arrive:

Then again you might prefer the LANboy air.....w/ 15 fan mounts, I think you can make it hover above your desk :)

LanCool PC-K62 DragonLord is the case I got. Gppd price and heaps of room/cooling.

Looks similar to an Antec 900(2) with LianLi style but not the price.

BFTB: NZXT Gamma (better than the 300 for $20 less)

Performance: Silverstone FT-02/RV-02

Styling: Cooler Master Cosmos/Cosmos S and Thermaltake Spedo/Spedo Advance (minus side window)

Overall: Cooler Master CM690 II Advanced

Most overrated: Antec 300/900

Lian Li PC-a77f

Great cooling? Check
Amazing looks? Check
A plethora of awesome features? Check
Easy to build in? Check
Made of the highest quality? Check

But that is only my opinion.

I have a CM 690 and I mist up just a little every time I look at it. It was a dream to build in, had tons of large fan ports and tons of features. And it's just so pretty!

Damn those are some nice picks, except for the 902 in my opinion. I still love my TJ07 even if Lian Li seems to be doing their best to persuade me to spend a lot of money on one of their cases! The CM 690 was my favorite budget case for years, until Lian Li's Lancool series was released. I love where Silverstone is going with their cooling designs, but not so much with their case designs.

I personally feel that the bitfenix is a great choice for a PC case.

Looks (subjective) = check.

Cooling = 2x 230mm fans, and availability for 3 additional 120mm fans to be installed. Push-pull system. Specially designed space for water cooling system.

Feautures = Integrated Fan control and light control on original colossus. Lockable compartment holding front USB ports and system control buttons. USB 3.0 on front in original colossus. Pulse option for lighting. Light colour switching on the fly (2 colours) on original colossus. 8 expansion modules.

Easy to build in = integrated cable management system. Thumb screws. Massive, so many options for expansion. Can take all modern parts of all sizes.

Made of highest quality = Softouch Rubber, steel and plastic. I won't argue when people say that plastic isn't the highest quality material, but as far as I'm aware, the plastic is only on the Windowed version.

Overall, I love this case :D

Performance wise (And styling in my opinion) the FT02 wins hands down.

Bang for buck either goes to the Antec 300 or the CM 690 II depending what price segment you're looking at.
