Deciding between 5970/5870/5850

Hi everyone, I'm trying to decide between getting a 5970, a 5870 (and a second one down the track), or a 5850 (and a second down the track). I've just bought a new computer, just need the graphics card.

Powercolor 5970 - $950 AU
5870 - $570 AU
Asus 5850 - $440 AU

New computer specs: i7 920 cpu, Asus p6t deluxe v2 motherboard, CoolerMaster HAF 932 case, Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB hdd, 6gb kingston ddr3 1600mhz ram, coolermaster UCP 1100w psu

This computer will be used primarily for gaming, probably on a 1900x res (or 2500x maybe), may or may not have a second monitor. I've read everything online about these cards, but still can't decide so any ideas are appreciated!

5970 penforms almost as good as 2 5870s for alot less than if you buy 2 separate 5870s, and it will fit in your case so, if you have the money right now i'd say go for the 5970.

but go for another brand, i've heard bad things about powercolor's quality.

either sapphire, xfx or HIS would be a good buy.

The Powercolor one is the only one I can currently find in stock, anywhere in Australia. I'll keep looking though...

Edit: I'm now fairly sure that I'll go for the Asus 5850 for $440 AU.

Edit: Went for the Sapphire HD 5870 instead, for $600. Overpriced, but it was the only thing I could get. Very happy so far!
