I have a tr2 430 watt power supply 20 + 4 pin, but my power connection only has 20 pins on my motherboard. My question is will this work on a Asus p5g41
motherboard???

It needs a 24 ( or 20+4 ) pin power connector.

If your 20-pin has a detachable 4-pin on he same cable, then yes, if it is just a 20-pin and a separate 4-pin, then no.
