Win xp mouse right button not working for disk

I run Win XP with SP3.
The right button of the mouse gives a menu if I select a folder but not if I select a logical disk
If I click the right button for a disk, I see the disk LED on during 10 seconds but nothing happens and the File Manager is blocked during this time.

someone experienced this problem ?
