    That HDD is faster

This ram is a bit more reliable

Both the Asus and Gigabyte board are fine, take your pick

    thanks for the quick reply,
yeah, but i was thinking of getting a 10000rpm for running windows and another one (the one u linked for ex. for all the other stuff) is that a good idea?
and what about the CPU? should i just get one of the other i7's? cause i know this is overkill ( i might be better off buying a cheaper one and buying a new one when mine starts getting out of date?) i heard the i7 920 overclocks great? or maybe i should buy the 950 and just overclock a bit?

    what are your thoughts?

could u give me a complete setup what you would recommend?
  2. The one I linked is tied or out preforms the outdated 10k rpm drives. Definitely do not get one. Well, the 975 is really for overclockers because it is unlocked. I think the i7-920 would be suited to your needs and save you a whole lot. You wont really notice the clock speed difference.

ok, and what about the idea to get a SSD (60-100gb) and a samsung hd wich u linked? as i said i have no clue about SSD.
And would u prefer a mainboard from Gigabyte or from MSI?

if i plan to overclock the i7-920 would i be better off buying better RAM or is the one u linked ok?

+1^ and if you want the 920 can easily be over clocked to 975 speeds and costs about 1/4th as much. You can use the money saved to get 1 or even 2 good solid state drives for apps and OS which will give you a good boost.
  5. go for the corsair ram!
  6. An SSD would not be a bad idea at all. Go for it. Definitively the Gigabyte board. Same ram I linked.
  7. yeah i would go for the gigabyte board as well
