eh, id prefer to buy it legally, and on a different note, what do u think about the prebuilt systems i posted.... cause im mainly looking at the fact that it includes winodws 7 + a keyboard an mouse... also does any1 think there will be better sales around christmas?

No, OEMs like that often cut corners. This way you know your getting quality parts and in the event of something being DOA you pay the return shipping for one part rather then a whole PC!

For ANY gaming rig you may want tone down on anything except the GPU dept. for best results In fact i would decide on what games i intend to play, resolution / settings i am willing to compromise to and design backwards after selection of GPU hehe

Well if u do get a lower end GPU it would work with some lowering of settings/resolution. That pre-built at Costco though has inferior hardware written all over it i.e:

1. nForce 430 chipset = bad clocker
2. Essentially an AM2 chipset so PCIex16 gen 1.0 not 2.0 slot
3. X2 240/Integrated video will get murdered by my x4 620/GTS 250 config - try GTA4 if u dun take my word for it hehe
4. I am thinking they used a god forsaken 'free with case' kindda PSU

Cheers
