Hello,

I currently have both motherboards and am wondering which one should I put in my gaming rig.

Here is my other system specs:
C2D E6600
ATI RADEON 4890
OCZ 4GB
320GB HD

Performance, overclocking, and temperature/stability would be factors to consider when deciding between the two.

Thank You.

Hello and welcome to the forums :)
Both are good, but i would go for the Gigabyte one because of having a newer and better chipset

Hi.

I prefer avoid the ASUS since is specially for SLI and u have an ATI GPU, in that case is better go with the Gigabyte and like Maziar says have a newer and better chip.

Thank You.
I am currently running the Gigabyte one. I am worried about the default voltages being too low though. Can someone give me the corrects voltages for E6600 on the gigabyte board.

If u set the voltage on auto for the CPU the mobo adjust automatically the correct voltage for the CPU unless that u change it for OC.

thank you. Does the same go for the RAM voltages?

If you haven't run in to any crashes/instabilities,then don't change anything, but if you want to change the settings, then set the RAM voltage, timings and speed in the BIOS manually to the manufactures settings

Yeah, if u don't change anything in ur mobo all the voltages will be configured in auto unless that u change something for OC.
