How do i find out if my Ram suits a motherbaord

I have 2 motherboards Asus m2a-vm and asus p5ld2-vm and 1x 512 ddr2 667stick of Ram where do I find out which Motherboard it is compatabile with? :pt1cable:  or is it a case of if it fits it'll work?

IIRC, both motherboards are DDR2. So you should be fine.

+1 both are DDR 2 boards. Have the P5LD2-VM unning for many years with 4 x 512 PC2 5300 667MHz. DDR2.

in this case, I remembered. But you can always go to the manufacturer's website and look up the specs.
