More about finding hardware fitted
  1. Try looking in the device manager. Turn on "hidden devices" and see if you can find the bluetooth, possibly under the USB connections. If it's there, right-click on it and select "uninstall".
  2. There was a Bluetooth Device showing which I have uninstalled but this has not removed it at startup.
There are the following USB devices, which one could it be?

    Generic USB Hub
Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Host Controller
Standard Open HCD USB Host Controller (2)
    USB Composite Device (2)
    USB Root Hub (3)

  3. My first post and I have had one response for which I am grateful. However the suggested remedy did not solve the problem. I am still getting the box on startup which says " New Hardware Found" This refers to a Bluetooth dongle which has been uninstalled though control panel but I am still getting this annoying msg. Any further ideas ??
