Last response: in Wireless Networking

I have set up my wireless router and show that I have connected to my router. But when I open a web browser, I am unable to connect to any websites. My friend was here with her laptop, and she experienced the identical problem. Any suggestions?

Go to Start->Run, type "cmd" (no quotes), and hit enter. In the command window, type "ipconfig /all > temp.txt" (no quotes) and post the file's contents here.

Btw, are the computers connected to the router via wire or wireless?

It ended up being quite simple. I didn't realize that the router would now be the point where my user name and password would be asked for. As soon as I filled in that info on the router, I was in business. Thank you for your help.
