What exactly are you asking? What does a BIOS flash do?

BIOS are generally updated to support new features such as adding support for new processors or correcting any problems found after a board has been released.

Unless you have a specific problem fixed by an update generally you do not need to do it as a problem during the update can kill a motherboard.
