I recently build a new PC with a corsair H80 and a sabertooth Z77 motherboard but when i boot up my pc the fans dont work unless i plug in the molex conection but it still says cpu fan error on boot anybody know what to do?

Solution
Are the fan headers disabled in the BIOS?

Is the pump plugged into a PWR fan header, always on.

Is the CPU fan plugged into the CPU fan header. 4-pin to 4-pin?

email the cooler tech support people and ask asus what pin on there fan header in the pin used to know that a fan is connected.
the other three pins two are used for power and the last is pmv to speed a fan up or down. the asus mb the fan header on the outside of the mb and there two of them. cpu main and cpu backup. you need to connect it to the right header and not miss any pins.
