Well I've been having boot up problems and I'm certain my BIOS is too old for my quad core. So here are the specs

-Asus M4A79XTD EVO AMD 790X Socket AM3 Motherboard - ATX, PCIe 2.0, 12x USB 2.0
-AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition AM3 CPU HDZ955FBGMBOX - 3.20GHz, Socket AM3, 6MB Cache, 2000MHz
-G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL7D-4GBRM

Where can I find the correct BIOS update? And mind if I get some steps while this is up. I don't want to screw up my computer so I'm asking you guys first.

I'll be using a USB for this.

I think I found my BIOS http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguag... check if im wrong plz. I downloaded it. placed it onto a USB. Now what?

By the way the website does not give you steps on how to do this on USB.

Are u sure of that? because if u go here download the manual of ur mobo and take a look of the page 57 u can find all the information and steps that u need for update the BIOS.
