7GHz Ivy Bridge in Windows 8

i am just in wonder, can it really be that windows 8 will boost up the perfomance on i7's?
maybe aswell we might see the AMD real EightCore Processor do a better job.
aswell as widnows 8 coming in 8 difference version.
Mac, i dont care they going to die cause of a virus one day
