Kingwin mach 1220W PSU?

Hey just wondering how good of a PSU the Kingwin mach 1 1220W PSU is... I've heard its okay, but I also read on the Newegg reviews that it seems to die quick. I like the Piperock design, and the abs tagan PSU's aren't available to be purchased at newegg..

does anyone have anything to tell me about this psu? Such as Stay away?

I plan on running Dual 5870s or Dual 5970s.

Yeah I wouldn't trust that PSU to dual 5970s. Anyway, the Kingwin mach 1 PSUs aren't too bad when free from defects. Of course, it would seem they have a rather high defect rate . You get what you pay for after all. Anyway, if you want to know more about PSUs, you need to look into PSU tiers

The list is a little old though so some newer PSUs don't appear on it. For those models just Google it and make sure the review is comprehensive and from a reputable site.

1200w is overkill for 2x 5970. Antec quatropwr 1kw will run it fine.
