Hey guys i need your opinion

I have a
amd fx-62 cpu,
xfx 8800gts,
2 gig of corsair xms2 ram and a
asus m2r32-mvp motherboard.
500 watt antec power supply
I was thinking of upgrading my pc or buying another one, this one is from cyberpower pc. Lasted me a few years now. This xmas i get some school money back and was wondering what you would think is better.

The parts i picked out are

amd phenom agena cpu its only around 100 bux on newegg
ati 5750 or 70 video card is $140-160
2-4 more gigs of corsair xms2 ram, my mother board supports up to 8 gigs, but only up to 800hz, about $100-120 or less
and one of those western digital caviar black edition hard drives , 500 gigs for like $69.

or one of these

its a little more then i plan on spending but i would make the sacrifice if its better then what im building. For some reason i dont think it is. Its why im asking for opinions. I also plan on moving to windows 7 if that helps any.
thanks for your time and opinions.

More about guys opinion
  1. You want to ditch Agena asap and go for either Propus or Deneb lol I would say reuse your PSU/Case/GPU and hit a DDR3 platform
  2. whats wrong with the agena cpu's i decided to go for the
    AMD Phenom II X4 940 Deneb 3.0GHz Socket AM2+ 125W Quad-Core Black Edition

im trying to not go over 400-500 to, if you can suggest a better setup like motherboard etc and cpu ram and vid card let me know.
  3. ^ Sticky please - http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/261222-31-build-advice
So that we can suggest you better things...
  4. Well for 940BE , your current mobo is essentially an AM2 and is no go as the highest chip it supports for socket AM2+ is Agena 9950 and even that via beta BIOS with OC not supported @@
    So my suggestion
