New video card

I just built my computer today with a xfx 4770 512mb video cards. When i look in the device manager it says stanard vga video adapter and same with cpu-z. Is this right i thought it should say the graphics card i have?

Did you install the driver software from the CD it came with? Honestly I'd go to the ATI sight and download the latest version. It should say something like ATI Radeon 4700 Series in Device Manager.

You haven't installed the drivers...
Install them with the CD provided with the card or download them from ATI's site.

Thanks i used the cd but i just had to get the most up to date drivers and it worked fine
