First Build Parts List. Now what can I expect?

I am listing my parts that I have ordered below. Since this is my first computer build I would like to know what to expect during the build and first start. Do I need to update the bios, drivers etc right away. I will be installing Windows 7 so I am assuming that is the first thing I will do upon startup correct? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

More about first build parts list expect
  1. Hi i started building when the AM2+ socket Phenom 2s where out i.e 940BE/920 and yes end last year one had to at times update BIOS for some AM2+ mobos. After Q1 this year when AM2+ moved to SB710 with 760G chipset they all work out of the box
  2. Yep, shouldn't be too many problems if you wire it all up ok. Watch out for stuff like the power / reset leads - really easy to mix up. Probably won't start if you get them the wrong way round! (Check those first if you have problems)

Should be as easy as stick the win 7 disk in, boot and away you go. Probably won't need a bios update.

Then you can go through the fun of finding all the drivers. NB: it is often easier to burn these to CD from another computer and then just transfer them across.
The motherboard should come with a bunch of drivers though which sort out things like networking etc. (Install these first!)

Hope that helps, anything else put another post in.
