HOW MOBO EFFECTED COMPUTER PERFORMANCE

Hi all

I would like to know is it matter good mobo make computer run faster, smoother?

Reason I ask, because I have old computer(2.8Ghz and 2Gb ram) but it still run faster my new one with 2.6Ghz and 8Gb ram. They all run same window 7? or it depend on processor?

Honestly depends more on the processor. The number of cores, cache amounts, whether windows or programs properly use those cores. Would need specific processors to really tell what the problem is. I will say more ram does not honestly equal faster performance if your not doing something that is using that much memory.
