Dell dvd drive is not working

Hello,
I m using dell inspiron N4010 ,in this laptop the DVD drive is not detecting the CD/DVD if i insert the disk and click the CD/DVD volume it tell me that PLS INSERT THE DISK INTO THE DRIVE VOLUME NAME.
Kindly tell me the solution for this problem.

Try some lens cleaning stuff. If that doesn't work... then its off to the customer service center.
