What is really the real power consumption of an FX-8150?

some sites say at full lod 300w+ some 200+

i need to know please users....

and

if u have fx-8150 whats the power consumption if it is OC'ed to 4.8ghz??

You are looking at the total system power which will vary widely from site to site based on their test setup and PSU efficiency. Not the number to look at. The 8150 is a 125W part. The power usage will go up as.you OC but I doubt past 150W and certainly not 200

TDP is 125 watts. TDP is based on the results of every pin on the CPU/GPU being toggled at the same time.

That means that, at stock voltage, actual power consumption will be a little less than TDP because there are redundant and unused pins.

TDP is a useful analog for power consumption for that reason.
