More about gaming
  1. ^ The Memory is fine...
HDD - better get a single fast drive for boot like the Samsung F3...The WD Green are more of a storage drive than boot drive...
LCD - there are no issues with it...It is a good one...
CASE - The HAF 922 is a very good option.
    Rest are fine...

Good Luck with your build... :)
  2. thank you i switch to two Samsung F3 HD103SJ 1TB. yea i like the look of that lcd.
keep your ideas coming more the better.
  3. ^ Will you be adding one more HD 5870 later in Crossfire ? If NO, then you can get the Gigabyte UD3R/ P7P55D instead of the PRO...
And could drop to the Corsair 650HX(Actually even this can power 2x HD 5870 though)...
So saving in these places, maybe you can get the i7 860...but that is just a thought though...
  4. does the UD3R have 7.1sound? but how bad is cross fire with 8x 8x
  5. and no stock UD3R in but there 35bucks more ASUS P7P55D LE Intel.
  6. If it is for gaming, i would take a T220 or a T240 from samsung
  7. i got it UnModular Power Supply save me 100buck and keep i7 860 and ASUS P7P55D PRO that if x8x8 cross fire is good.
  8. @Heinrich Schwanz
    y that
  9. the msi p55 gd 65 board is pretty good
  10. @That-_-Guy which Non-Modualar PSU are you talking about ?
and frankly for a HD 5870 crossfire, I would rather check out the X58 chipsets as they would offer more bandwidth on the x16 slots...
