My old motherboard fried so i bought a replacement and i still cannot get it to work. When booting into either a OS install disk or the old HDD with the OS installed, i cannot get past a "CRC" error. More about : crc error installing booting system hdd tarquinbiscuitbarrel December 1, 2009 1:11:53 PM CRC is something to do with HDD i think. have you got it connected to the right sata port on the mobo? if you're using two HDD's then make sure the boot HDD is on SATA 0 or 1 (can't remember which) edit: hm... have you changed boot order to optical drive first? strange it would get a CRC error. m 0 l docmarine December 1, 2009 1:50:25 PM I am booting from the optical drive and i still have many problems.
