Here is what I am thinking off, please let me know what you recommend.

The Corsair HX850 will handle 3 5850s, you dont need that large of a PSU.

For the 500GB Hard drives get single platter drives like the samsung F3 or Seagate 7200.12.

What about a CPU cooler for overclocking? Would be a shame to get an i7 920 and run it at stock speed. Xigmatek Dark Knight or Coolermaster Hyper 212 plus.
