Can i use the hard disk of my notebook to desktop?

The easiest way to do this is to buy a SATA to USB converter. Just unplug the notebook drive and fit into the USB to SATA converter and plug the USB lead into the desktop computer. Alternatively you can disconnect the laptop SATA drive and fit it to a spare SATA and power connector in your desktop computer if you have any.
One problem that you may have is in taking ownership of your files. This is very easy to do in Windows7 but can be a little bit more difficult in Windows XP. You didn't say what operating system you had on the desktop.
