I would recommend that you consider a i5-750 processor ($200 USD) and a P55 motherboard (Gigabyte P55-UD4P or ASUS P7P55D PRO: $170 USD). Both of these motherboards will allow you to add a second graphics card in the future. This system will actually outperform a i920 processor because the i750 processor has the latest technology advancements from Intel:

The i750 processor ($150 Microcenter or $200 Newegg), P55 motherboard ($170), and 4GB DDR3 1600 RAM ($95), will actually save you about $250 over your i920 build. But the really great thing is that you do not have to sacrifice performance with the i750 system.

If you really want to have a super fast system, consider upgrading to the i7-860 processor ($230 Microcenter or $290 Newegg) and the same P55 motherboard.

Good Luck!
