I'm a bit worried about pump dying and my components frying.

Is there any software out there that easily force power off to PC if temperatures reach a specific temperature, lets say 70c.

RealTemp and CoreTemp both have the ability to instantiate a shutdown script to perform this exact action. I know for a fact that CoreTemp also includes an example script you can use or edit to your liking.

if your over clocking the faster the better, like a power kill, you can always reinstall software if the OS becomes unstable because of a forced shut down, but hardware will always cost to replace.
