Did I accidently overclock?

Hi, I built a i3-2120 machine just a little while ago and I was looking and it says that the processor is running at 3399.6 mhz, so what I was wondering is if that is something I should worry about as far as it shortening the processors life or anything? Also if that was somehow overclocked is there a way to set it back or do I just live with it the way it is? Then finally should I look into some kind of aftermarket cooler for a i3 if it was overclocked, or do they run cool enough that I wouldn't have to worry about it? Thanks for anything that you can tell me.

You can't overclock the i3-2120 so no it isn't overclocked. What motherboard do you have?

no you did not, the i3-2120 runs stock at 3.3ghz, and you cant overclock that cpu only time you can overclock an intel processor is when it has a k on the end of the model name, that means its unlocked.

The BCLK is set to 103Mhz (for whatever reason).

That's the reason I asked his motherboard. Some come set with a higher BCLK.

Just be aware that the P8Z68-V LX only has a 4+2 Power Phase design with NO heatsinks on the VRM's, so OC'ing ability will be less than average. Also, there's no manual Vcore adjustment with that board. You HAVE to use offsets.
