Hard drive space decreased windows xp

Hello,i have an archose 10 netbook with windows xp home sp 3. suddenly it stoped working. so i give it to my friend to repair. he put another windows software in it. when i type some letters some programs started opening up. so i restored my net book to original factory state by pressing f9 at start up. now my problem is c drive has only 5gb and goes to low memory and d drive also lost memory only 94gb now.can anyone help thank you

Hard drive space is not "memory", that's only for RAM. You need to look over the drives and try to find where the space is. If you did a factory restore, it should have wiped all the partitions on the drives and started clean. You may want to bring this to someone that knows about computers to sort out. And you should find out what your friend did exactly.
