Well, the clocking of a GPU isn't detirmined by the motherboard. Maybe whether or not its worth while. Not that we're gonna see a huge graphical difference between an 8x or 16x PCIe slot. Most your overclocking of a GPU is through the Catalyst Control Center. Unless I missed something in my motherboards BIOS settings.

Well OverClocking a card doesn't isn't related to motherboard much, its mainly related to the card itself,so you have to get the card and try to play with its clocks, etc but i think you can get a good OC from it since 5770 is a good OC'er

not to mention in part the case and power supply

bad case means low airflow which means more heat which leads to less overclockability.

poor power supply may not be able to handle an overclock

Good cooling and good PSU will determine overclocking potential. What motherboard is usually irrelevant.

I see you have a Coolermaster extreme 600w PSU. That is more than enough. Other than that just use CCC to push it up a little at a time. I am not sure of the OC potential of these cards.
